CASA Volunteers Needed
CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. Our mission is to recruit and train community volunteers to be a powerful voice for all abused and neglected children in the court system. They inform the court of the child’s wishes and advocates for the child’s needs. Volunteers are the foundation of the CASA program. Big Brother Big Sister of Acadiana
People of faith mentoring children of promise. The Amachi Program provides mentors to children who have a parent in prison. 70% of children with a parent in prison ends up in the criminal justice system. Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery, a Ministry of Northside Assembly of God is held every Monday night at 6:00pm. Includes a meal, worship and small groups and a dessert and coffee time.
