WASHINGTON (AP) - The U-S Department of Defense says a Louisiana soldier has died in the Iraq War.



Sergeant Joseph A. Richard III of Lafayette died Monday in Baghdad of wounds sustained when his vehicle encountered an improvised explosive device.



Richard was 27 years old
